The recruitment process of attracting, screening and selection of the most competent candidate, seems to have stabilized in the ongoing recessionary phase, with recruitment agencies, job providers and Corporations offering high profile jobs to professionals and filling up positions for managerial posts.

A research conducted by the multi-national recruitment firm, Antal International, questioned 17199 companies and organizations in major job markets in countries like USA, India, China, Europe and Africa whether their recruitment desks were actively hiring professionals and managers. The survey also included their recruitment plans for the next quarter and the attrition and employee turnover rates. The results were quite optimistic with 55 % of the respondents indulging in recruitment at the professional and managerial levels. The attrition rates were at 20 % which was marginally higher than the rates in December and were expected to sustain in this range.

It is definitely an optimistic scenario with recruitment agencies and companies hiring worldwide and the situation seeming stable for the coming months for professionals and managers worldwide.
